Pair of Columns in Arabescato Orobico Marble. Handmade in Italy
Height 100 cm, base and capital 24×24 cm, shaft diameter approximately 12 cm.
Columns in architecture represent the cornerstones of a building, thus symbolizing stability, balance and solidity.
Like many vertical elements, they symbolically connect Earth and Sky, becoming an expression of men’s gratitude towards the gods, as well as stability, strength and perfect balance.
Imposing and elegant, marble columns are a highly effective decorative solution, suitable for any style, from classic to modern. They will easily combine with important antiques, but also with the more modern styles of liberty and rococo inspiration. In contrast with the clean lines of modern and design settings, they will instead be able to give a touch of timeless elegance.

ARABESCATO OROBICO MARBLE
Arabescato Orobico is a precious Italian marble extracted mainly in the Cava Cornalita in Val Brembana (Bergamo – Italy). The refined basic color has a neutral tone tending towards gray, with veins that vary from pink to gold. Its inimitable chromatic peculiarities and natural designs, unique in the world, earn it the name “arabesque” to underline its lively and sinuous ornaments, which refer to oriental and Islamic art.
The ease of installation and the particular beauty make Arabescato Orobico suitable for any use: from cladding to flooring, from interior furnishings to external coverings, up to being chosen by architects and designers for the creation of furnishing elements.
