Orange spots–of oxide
Green veins above the limestone peace
That the foam beats with its keys
Or the sunrise with its rose,
Are so these stones:
No one knows whether they came out of the sea or to the sea they return,
something surprised them while they were living,
In the stillness they went out
And they built a dead city.
A city without cries, without kitchens,
A solemn enclosure of purity,
pure fallen forms
In a disorder without resurrection,
In a multitude that lost its gaze
in a gray monastery
Condemned to the naked truth of his gods.
THE MATERIAL.
La
Paesina stone
consists mainly of compact limestone and clay, and is typical almost exclusively of Tuscany, particularly the Florence area. In fact, in the world it is also known as “Florence stone .” Geologically, it originated about 50 million years ago, and its finds are still exclusively accidental; in fact, there are no deposits or places designated for its extraction. This makes it a very rare and highly prized material.
The peculiarity of the stone lies in the patterns created by mineralized solutions in Iron and Manganese, that is, effects that look like ruined cities, stormy seas, inlets, rocks, volcanoes, and mountains. Hence its particular name originates.
In crystal therapy, the Paesina Stone, is considered the stone of new beginnings, of renewal; it encourages the establishment of a fighting and tenacious nature, helping to pursue one’s goals to the end.
